This traditional combination whirlpool/air bath fits most homes. The tubs rectangular shape allows it to be incorporated into a shower design. 9 water jets provide an aggressive hydrotherapy body massage with three stacked water jets to massage the back and spine. 18 air jets located in the floor provide a non-aggressive air massage. The C7242GW has a center-side drain. On combination baths all the water jets are fully directional and the jet’s scalloped face can be rotated allowing the bather to increase or decrease the water flow and pressure from each jet. A three speed control (high-medium-low) is standard on all combo baths giving the bather complete control of the water flow and pressure from all the water jets simultaneously.
For your comfort all back and neck jets are recessed in all Watertech whirlpools and combination bathtubs. The water lines on combo baths are rigid PVC, U.L. certified for 100% drainage assuring a clean and sanitary massage experience each and every time the bath is used. A free pulsating jet is provided with each combo bath and can be easily interchanged with any water jet in a matter of seconds. The pulsating jet is a feature usually found only in hot tubs and spas.
The measurements are 72” in length and 42 ” in width. The C7242GW combo bath, a combination air bath and whirlpool bath, has 18 watertight air injectors with 126 air ports and 9 water jets. Each injector has an internal check valve that insures water never enters any part of the air system (blower, air lines, or air manifold etc). We recommend anyone buying an air bath or combination air/whirlpool bath review and understand the differences between Watertech’s injector baths and other air baths that are manufactured by eliminating air injectors and simply drilling holes through the bottom of the tub into an unserviceable air channel under the tub. All combo baths have a blower powered air system and pump powered water system that can be operated independent of each other or used at the same time. The bather gets to select from three massages – air, water or combination of air and water. Additional information can be found on our website or in our product catalogue. All Watertech combination baths are equipped with injectors (air jets) in the floor and hydrotherapy water jets in the walls of the bathtub, two entirely different massages that can be used separately or together.

Examine the shipping box for signs of damage or mishandling, i.e. staples pulled loose, flaps unglued, punches to the box, severe indentations, or crushed corners. If the box is damaged, the delivery person and receiving person / Consignee must note the damage to the box on delivery paperwork before opening the box. Open the box and inspect the tub for damage. If damage is found, call WaterTech Whirlpools at 1-800-289-8827 before accepting tub. Minor defects such as scuffs, scratches, etc… can be easily taken care of by one of our service people. All issues need to be resolved before signing delivery paperwork.

Report concealed damage and shortage to Americas Best Whirlpools 1-800-289-8827.
FAILURE OF THE CONSIGNEE TO INSPECT AND REPORT ANY CONCEALED DAMAGE WITHIN THE 48 HOUR PERIOD PLACES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONCEALED DAMAGE ON THE CONSIGNEE.
PRE-TEST YOUR TUB: You must pretest your tub for leaks within 48 hours of receipt. WaterTech Whirlpools tubs go through rigorous testing for plumbing leaks and proper operation prior to shipping, but as a secondary precaution, the tub must be re-tested for leaks and proper operation within the allotted 48 hours and before installation. Test your tub in a location that will not be damaged by spilled water such as a basement, driveway, or a garage. Pre-testing your tub allows you to find any plumbing connections that might have worked loose during shipping.
HOW TO PRE-TEST YOUR TUB: Place your tub on a firm flat surface, make sure top of tub is level in all directions. Tape over the drain. Fill with water to 1 or 2 inches above the highest jet. Plug the motor into a GFCI protected outlet, and with the pump running, check all pipes and fittings for moisture. If no leaks are found, remove tape over drain and check for proper drainage. If all is correct, you may continue the Installation process.
IF ANY PROBLEMS ARE DISCOVERED DO NOT INSTALL THE TUB UNTIL YOU HAVE SPOKEN WITH A WATERTECH WHIRLPOOLS REPRESENTATIVE AT 1-800-289-8827
